There are many attractions and places of interest for those who like history, nature, good food and fun activities. Surajkund is just 15 kms from Delhi; it provides some serious relaxation if you really need it. This special place has the Surajkund Lake developed in the 10th century by Raja Suraj Pal, they even have a cooler name for it; ‘Surajkund’. The place is surrounded by greenery and can be very relaxing. There is also a lake where you can walk in the middle of walking or take a boat if you want to also relax. 

 

The Surajkund also has the Surajkund Crafts Mela that takes place annually with the parading of Indian art and culture. Cultural activities, natural food, and crafted gadgets are highlights of such centers which are the best place to visit. 

 

Distance from Delhi: 43 kilometers. Surajkund is well connected by road or a short auto or taxi ride from Badarpur Metro Station. 


Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary 



 

Asola Bhatti Wildlife Sanctuary is an excellent place for wildlife and bird watching and adventure activities enthusiasts situated on the south of Delhi. Measuring about 32 square kilometers, it provides standard trails and facilities such as nature centers. It is the dwelling place of birds, butterflies, reptiles, and mammals and the five lakes are Bhardwaj Lake and four others buried inside the sanctuary. 

 

However, one can trek through the place through the different trekking trails found in the sanctuary, bird watching or just take a nature walk. 

 

Distance from Delhi: 38 km. So as to be reached either with the car or public transport, the metro or a bus. 

 

Botanix Nature Resort 

 

Located in Aravalli state and positioned 25 kms away from Gurgaon and 65 km far from New Delhi, Botanix Nature Resort is perfect for people fond of nature.
